Study visit of Bosnian specialists to the Czech Republic

The company G E T implements a foreign development cooperation project under the Aid for Trade program entitled "Improving the situation, productivity and efficiency of the mining industry in Bosnia and Herzegovina". As part of this project, a group of managers from the lignite mining and energy sectors, universities and the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina visited the Czech Republic from 23 to 27 May 2022. The aim of the trip was to exchange experiences on improving the efficiency of coal mining, power generation and social issues related to the decline of the coal industry. The group was received at the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, was briefed on the strategic plans of the Karlovy Vary Region and visited the main Czech mining and energy companies. The participation of 22 Bosnian colleagues testifies to the extraordinary interest in the whole event, which met with an exceptional response thanks to the friendly approach of the Czech partners.
